Dr. Alka Munjal, Director, Amity School of Business delivered lecture on "Challenges Faced by Women Leaders" during AIC lecture series at Amity University Campus Sector-125 Noida. This was the 138th lecture under the Amity International Centre (AIC) Lecture Series.
In her lecture Dr. Munjal said Man and Woman are complementary to each other and there is no competition between them. There are challenges which are faced by women in her respective field. Inspite of 50% population of country only 4% of women are top earners. Women are performing better in every field whether it in service or education or management.
Dr. Balwinder Shukla, Pro VC(A), AUUP said that there is an old saying that "Behind every successful man there is a woman". Now it is changed to "Behind every successful woman there is very emphatic and supportive husband. Dr. Shukla said that if family is with you (woman) than society is with you.
Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group said that the lecture presented by Dr. Alka Munjal is very relevant in present scenario. Woman is now getting recognised and excelling in every field. There is need to empower rural women also. Dr. Chauhan announced the establishing of "Amity Women Power Club" in Amity University.
Maj. Gen K. J Singh, Vice Chancellor, AUUP, Dr. Abha Agnihotri, Senior Scientist, Ms. Ragini Singh, Senior Vice President, Amity, Ms. Sunita Singh, Director-Admissions were also present during the occasion.
