Amity International School, Mayur Vihar organises interactive workshop on ‘Internet Safety’

Furthering the cause of education as envisioned by the Chairperson, Amity Schools, Dr.(Mrs)Amita Chauhan to make vigilant individuals in keeping with advancement in technology an interactive workshop on ‘Internet Safety’ was conducted for the students of the classes X-XII on April 20, 2011 at Amity International School, Mayur Vihar.
The representatives from ‘Jaago Teens,’ an NGO, addressed the gathering about cyber crime, cyber laws and safe surfing. An extensive discussion on the causes and the repercussions of ‘cyber-bullying’ helped in sensitizing the students about the cyber crime. Tips on internet safety and adopting precautionary measures while accessing social networking sites were provided to the students. The workshop was highly beneficial and appreciated by the students and the staff.
