Teijin Corporate from Japan visited Amity University during Global Internship Orientation Program, INDIA

A twelve member executive’s team of Teijin, a Japanese company visited Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Sector-125, Noida Campus. The purpose of the visit was to attend the Induction Orientation Program, namely, Global Internship Orientation Program, INDIA under the aegis of “Discovery India”. The team aims to promote cross cultural communication between India and Japan.

To promote cross cultural ideas, an Interactive Cooking Session was conducted by Amity School of Hospitality (ASH) where in (ASH) faculty and students prepared Indian Cuisine, the Indian Thali such as Aam Panna, Tandoori Chicken, Palak Paneer, Chana Dal Tadka, Boiled Rice, Tawa Phulka, Boondi Raita, Kachumbar Salad and Sevian Kheer and taught culinary sklls to the Japanese delegation.

Expert Chefs from Amity School of Hospitality present during the Interactive Cooking Session were Chef Siddharth Paria, Chef Garima Parkash, Chef Amarjeet Singh, Chef R K Bhatt and Chef Paresh Bali

Participants of Japanese team in the Interactive Cooking Session were Fukushima Yuta, Takada Tetsushi, Tetsuto Ochiai, Oka Hayato, Nakano Yuki, Noguchi Yuka, Miyazawa Yuki, Hosomi Yuto, Hashimoto Kazuki, Mark, Yomogida Hiroki, Okada Ryuji, Hirata Kei and Kanno Eri.

Vijay, Saanya, Rohit Negi, Isha, Poojitha, Sridevi and Rohit Mangoria were the students from Amity School of Hospitality who participated in the Cooking Session
