Visit of Amitasha Children to Worlds of Wonder
“Amitasha”, a project under the Amity Humanity Foundation (AHF) is a social renaissance engine of Amity. Established in 1999 under the able guidance and leadership of
Dr. Ashok K Chauhan- Founder President, Amity Group and Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity International Schools, the project endeavors to shape the lives of hundreds of girl children who were earlier deprived of education and better future.
The dream of
Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan to make underprivileged girl children empowered enough to take their own decisions, is being nurtured in Amitasha schools which are being run in the campuses of Amity International Schools located in Noida, Saket and Gurgaon.
On 1st April 2011, 41 teachers/staff and 200 children of
Amitasha visited the
World of Wonders, Noida, Courtesy International Recreation Parks, Pvt. Ltd
The organizers had arranged a magic show for the children. The magic show was highly appreciated by the students of
Amitasha. The girls spent the entire day full of fun and frolic on rides and spine chilling joy rides. It was the first time in their life, the girls experienced such thrill and excitement.
