AITTM Organizes a Guest Lecture Session on “Achieving Excellence through Value based living”.
Amity Institute of Telecom Technology and Management Organized a Guest Lecture Session on “Achieving Excellence through Value based living” by Dr.Madhur Bhashini, Director, Education & Training, eSpan Learning on March 18, 2011 for MBA (Telecommunication Management) and B.Tech(Electronics & Telecommunication) students.
Lt.Gen. P.D. Bhargava, Director General, Amity Institute of Telecom Technology and Management welcomed the guests – Dr.Madhur Bhashini, Director Education & Training, eSpan Learning, Ms.Helen Mahtani, Ms.Shreya Hans and Mr.Jaspreet Singh.
Dr. Madhur Bhashini, an educationist with an extensive experience in Industry and Academia with an extremely rewarding career of more than 15years in USA and India, was a Professor of Biology at NOVA community college in Virginia, USA for 8years and is also a certified trainer for “Personal Empowerment”. She commenced her lecture by telling the audience about excellence. She stated that Excellence can be defined as a habit which one must develop highlighting its importance and significance in one’s life.
Dr. Madhur Bhashini said that situations are made by LIFE principles wherein we should exercise our choice of RIGHT or WRONG. She further added that we have freedom to make the right choice and therefore, we have the freedom to make our life happy, successful and meaningful. The knowledge about right or wrong comes from reading scriptures that have elaborately explained the “Art of happy, successful and meaningful living”. Dr.Bhashini emphasized on the fact that if we cannot read then we must intelligently observe nature and develop the same qualities of Selflessness, Generosity, compassion & tolerance and work for a higher purpose with purity of thoughts, emotions, and actions. She said that enormous courage and strength would help all of us to manifest our potential as excellence in all spheres of our lives.
Dr. Bhashini said that one must excel in everything one needs to train his mind to do and whatever situation we are in, it is because nature wants us to learn something from the experience we will get out of it. She stated that the path of good and selfless living may seem difficult but actually it is not. Dr. Madhur Bhashini concluded her lecture with a meditation session stating that may all of us have limitless potential, enormous courage and steadfast determination to live a life of righteousness and fulfill higher purpose of being born as a human.
