Twelve Weeks Certificate Course in Management of Academic Institutions for Officers of Defence Forces begins at Amity University
Directorate General Resettlement, Ministry of Defence Sponsored 12 Weeks Certificate Course in Management of Academic Institutions for Officers commenced on November 05, 2012 at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Sector 125, Noida. A total of 26 Defence Services Officers will be attending this programme. As a result the total Service Personnel in the Campus will be 67. This includes Officers on Study Leave attending a two years full time Post Graduate Courses. All these courses for Defence Forces has been possible due to Dr Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President’s deep concern for the welfare of Service Personnel and giving them opportunity to empower themselves academically at the University and develop skills to successfully take up a second career.
On 06 November 2012 earlier in the day a Havan was held as per traditions and later the Inaugural Session. Commodore Subhash Gadhvi, Principal Director, DG Resettlement was the Guest who exhorted the participants to make full use of the opportunity at Amity University, which was very successfully running this course for 3 years.
Also present on the occasion was Maj Gen K Jai Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida, who impressed upon the participants the need to quickly understand Corporate culture and Officers of Team AIET.
The officers during the self introduction informed that the quality of information and interest by Faculty was well spoken of and therefore it would help them acquire knowledge to join Academic Institutions or set up their own Schools.
