Amity Law School, Noida organises workshop on Legal Entrepreneurship

The need to highlight awareness amongst the community to large and a prominent of law students in this regard was discussed at a workshop held today in Amity Law School, Noida.  Active participation, sensitization and active involvement of consumers is vital would for sustenance and growth of corporate actively.  Investors as consumers in the financial markets are its key components.  Their informed awareness is a dire need for the success of economic development.   Students in law colleges can play a meaningful role to spread awareness in this regard.  Further, they would exposure by way of a direct benefit to the world of legal entrepreneurship.

 

The event, an initiative of Ministry of Corporate Affairs saw an interaction of law students with Mr Rajiv Bajaj, Associate Director, Panasonic Networks India Co Ltd. and a practicing CA Sandeep Ahuja.

 

Amity Law School, Noida became the first ever law college in India to set up a Legal Entrepreneurship Clinic.  Maj Gen Nilendra Kumar, Dean of Law Faculty highlighted the innovative scope for a career in law to the students who took the initiatives to join as members of the clinic.

 

Rajiv Bajaj explained the major nuances of the investor market.  Reintroduction of excise duty and inheritance tax appears likely in some form.  CA Sandeep Ahuja advised the caution lest it becomes a step for anti capital generation.  Infrastructure bonds need a boost by including low cost housing development projects as well as launch of voluntary disclosure schemes for infusion of undeclared funds in the economy.
