There is no coordination amongst the Police of different states across India. Moreover, there are 3 Police officers deputed for one VIP and 1 Police Officer for 700 people, which puts extreme burden on Police, which is already short of personnel. He stressed that Change is brought by actions and not by mere thinking.

Ms. Rinku Ghosh- Editor, The Pioneer outlined the responsible reporting by Indian media during Delhi Gang Rape Case and stressed that media behaved most sincerely and sensitively while reporting the Case. Despite of major news regarding the elections in Gujarat, the incident was continuously followed up and reported everyday by Media. Sharing her views further, Ms. Ghosh said that the Fast Track Courts in India are not that fast. Even after Delhi Gang rape case, there have been rapes across the country almost every day because there is no fear in the minds of wrong doers. They are aware of the laxity of Laws which needs immediate revision. She vehemently proposed death penalty for crimes as serious as Rapes and Murders.

Ms. Winnie Singh stressed that rape hurts a woman physically, mentally, psychologically and emotionally. It’s a violation of human rights. She stressed that the role of non- Government organization is very important in the cases of sexual violence and contribute immensely to bring positive changes in the society.
