AITTM organises Anti Drug and Anti Liquor Campaign - Using Poster as a part of Human Value Quarter

JUST SAY NO TO ANY KIND OF INTOXICATION! With this aim the students of Amity Institute of Telecommunication and Technology organized a Campaign on anti-Liquor and Anti-drugs as a part of the Human Value Quarter 2013.

A study of more than 3,000 students in 20 communities nationwide found that by the end of 8th grade, they had engaged themselves into liquor and drugs. While this percentage is going high each year, the sense of rationality of the youth is on a downfall. Thus, the campaign aimed to gather community support for anti-liquor and anti drug abuse and to educate the youth on the dangers of these addictions.

The campaign’s programme was inclusive of posters created by the students of AITTM themselves. The posters portrayed the ill-effects of these intoxications and the harm it causes to not only the person taking them but in turn the effects of it on the whole society.

The students held a march within the campus premises, Slogans like “Hum drugs….Nahi karenge, Nahi karenge” , “You booze, you lose….” And many others were being said, in order to support the cause and gather people’s attention.

The response that we got was immense. Most of them vouched with the students to support the cause and stop all of it from now on. While many others assured to spread awareness.
