Delegation from National Central University, Taiwan visits Amity University
Delegation from National Central University, Taiwan visited Amity University, Sector-125, Noida to build a mutually rewarding association between both the Universities. The delegation comprised of Prof. Albert Wu, College of Engineering - National Central University, Prof. Kuo, Chia-Ming- College of Science, Prof. Hwang, Wu Yuin – College of Computer Science, Ms. Caroline Ma – International Affairs office, Mr. Keshav Singh, PhD Student.
The delegation was welcomed by Prof. B.P. Singh, Senior Director – ASET Bijwasan, Dr. V.K. Jain, Advisor – AIARS (M&D), Prof. S.K. Khatri, Director – AIIT.
The purpose of the delegation’s Visit was to explore Amity’s academic offerings. Delegation Members interacted with Senior Officials of ASET, AIIT and AIAS to discuss the relevant areas where both the Universities can join hands.
While addressing the gathering, Prof. Albert Wu, College of Engineering - National Central University said that in NCU around 12000 students are studying in 51 Graduate and 34 Post Graduate courses in 7 different colleges under 20 departments. Around 600 foreign students are studying in which 17 students are from India. Prof Wu said that they are interested in students exchange, faculty exchange program, Dual Degree Programs and Short Duration Programs.
Delegatiom members also met with Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh.
During the occasion Dr. Rekha Agarwal, Diractor – ASET Bijwasan, Dr. Sunita Rattan, Addl Director – AIAS, Dr. K.M. Soni, Dy Director – ASET, Dr. Abhay Bansal, HoD CSE - ASET were present.
The delegation was taken around the campus and shown magnificent campus including impressive infrastructure, Amity University Online and Amity Innovation Incubator.
