Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, Deputy Director (Law), Competition Commission of India delivered lecture on the topic "Introduction to Competition Law" at Amity Law School, Centre-II on January 10, 2013.
The lecture started with a reference to IV Part of Indian Constitution and a brief overview on Monopolistic Restrictive Trade Practices Act. The lecture also dealt into certain economic policies and issues. Dr. Singh elaborated on the way competition commission works to check unhealthy competitions like cartels and unfair combinations.
The Lecture was enlightening, interactive and the students & faculty members enjoyed and appreciated it. Finally the session came to an end with Prof. Mamta Srivastava, Addl. Director thanking the guest for his valuable time.
