All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice celebrated “INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY” and honored eminent dignitaries with “BHARATIYA MANAV ADHIKAR SAMMAN AWARD– 2012” on 10th December, 2012 at Siri Fort Auditorium.
The Award Ceremony commenced with Bharat Natyam dance performance by Ms. Della Devis, Student, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, followed by the conferring of the Awards to Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor , Amity University, Uttar Pradesh for promoting peace, harmony and protecting human rights and Dr. Rama Patnayak- Director, Academic Coordinator, Amity University for being a distinguished Academician.
Dr. R.K. Chauhan-Vice Chancellor-Lingaya’s University, Dr. Nomita Aggarwal, Director General-Lloyd Law College, Dr. Ramesh Chandra, Vice Chancellor-Vankateswara Universityy, Begum Yaman K Khan, Sufi Singer and others were felicitated with the “Bhartiya Manav Adhikar Human Rights Award”
The Awards were given away by Dr. Anand Mohan Zutsi Gulzar Dehlvi, Freedom fighter, Oscar Fernandez, Member of Parliament (Rajyasabha) and Mr. K. Krishna Kumar, IAS (Retd.) & Former Union Minister
