Research and Innovation in Teacher Education: Pragmatic Approach in today’s scenario
The Amity Institute of Education, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh organized a seminar on “Research and Innovation in Teacher Education: Pragmatic Approach in today’s scenario at Amity Campus, Sector-125, Noida.
The Seminar was inaugurated with the blessings of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) and Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.
Prof. V. P. S. Arora, Dean, Academics, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh and Prof. B. B. Dhar Director, Research was present in the inaugural session.
Dr. Alka Muddgal welcomed the participants and talked about the need and importance of Research and Innovation in Teacher Education emphasizing the role of pragmatic approach in today’s scenario. This National Seminar witnessed an enthusiastic participation from Nine Universities viz.

The paper presenters were research scholars, students of M.Ed. and M.A. (Education). Their presentations touched a wide panorama of Research & Innovation in Teacher Education. The presenters talked about innovative researches in Teacher Education.
Dr. Sistla Ramadevi Pani, Editor University News, Head, Research Division Association of Indian Universities and Prof. A. K. Sharma formerly Director, NCERT concluded the session and awarded certificates to all the participants.
