McLaren Mercedes F1 Car at Amity University
In order to provide an exclusive opportunity to Amity students to have a learning experience and have a deep insight into the mechanism of F-1 competitive Cars, McLaren Mercedes F1 Car was displayed at Amity University Campus, Sector-125, Noida on October 23, 2012. Hundreds of students thronged the place where the smashing car was placed. Students expressed their joy and were amazed and thrilled to see the F1 car in front of them. Moreover, it was like a dream come true to many Amity students to have a look at McLaren Mercedes F1 Car to its closest.
A Car racing Simulator game competition was also held, wherein students participated and won the prizes too. Apart from that, questions related to Farmula1 were also asked to Amitians. The MC of the event played various other games and let students enjoy with the fun activities like dancing, singing, etc.
Students of Amity also achieved success in designing a prototype of F1 Race Car , 15 prodigies from the Mechanical and Automation Branch of Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Amity University designed, modelled and fabricated an avant grade Car titled “Amity Formula 1 Race Car”, under the SAE (Society for Automotive Engineering )Collegiate Club of ASET Noida, AUUP.
McLaren Mercedes F1 Car won second prize in F1 Race in India in 2011. As of now, this car has won races organized worldwide in Canada (June 2012), Australia (March 2012), Hungary (July 2012), Belgium (September 2012) and Italy (September 2012). Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button will be driving this extravagant Car at F1 Race 2012.
