Shri M. Okendro, Hon’ble Education Minister of Manipur accompanied by Mr. P Vaiphei – Commissioner, Higher Education, Manipur visited Amity University Campus, Sector-125, Noida
The Honorable guests were welcomed by the senior officials of Amity University and were apprised with Amity University, its unique and topical courses, erudite faculty members, extensive R& D focus and other accomplishments.
Hon’ble Education Minister of Manipur applauded the various initiatives taken by the management Amity University to revolutionize the education sector in India and abroad. He admired the state of the art infrastructure and facilities offered at Amity University to the students.
Mr. P Vaiphei – Commissioner, Higher Education, Manipur expressed his delight over the fact that Amity Group is planning to open Amity University Campus in Manipur, which needs state of the art educational institutions. Mr. P Vaiphei highlighted the rich culture and traditions of Manipur and citing the example of Olympian Boxer, Mary Kom and her stupendous achievement in Olympics stressed that the boys and girls of Manipur are doing really well in education and sports. He extended his wholehearted support to Amity to open their University Campus in Manipur.

The guests were taken around of the Campus and were shown various institutions of Amity like Amity Innovation Incubator, Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Admissions Complex, E- learning Centre, Sports Complex and Hostels
