Amity Law School Centre-II organised guest lecture by Ms. Karnika Seth, Managing Partner of Seth Associates on the topic "Social Networking Sites Vis A Vis Freedom of Speech and Expression".
Ms. Karnika Seth specializes in Cyber Law and Intellectual Property Law and has actively resolved many Cybercrime cases in conjunction with the cyber crime Cell , Delhi , and economic Offences Wing of the Delhi POlice and the other law enforcement agencies in India. Ms. Seth has authored articles and reviewed books on various legal issues in Information Technology and Business laws for several reputed publications. Ms. Seth enlightened the students on various subjects like social media, its pros and cons, cyber terrorism and various censorship etc. She also discussed about cases related to cyber laws and the judgements.
Prof. Mamta Srivastava, Addl. Director, ALS Centre-II thanked Ms. Seth for her valuable insightful lecture and presented her a memento as a token of appreciation.
