Amity School of Engineering and Technology organises Amity IET Knowledge Sharing Lecture on "ICT in education- Challenges, Myths and Government Initiatives"
Amity School of Engineering and Technology & Amity IET Student Chapter had organised Amity IET Knowledge Sharing Series No. 1 on topic “ICT in education- Challenges, Myths and Government Initiatives” on 4th September 2012 at Amity University Sec 125, Noida.
The lecture aimed at the various information and communication technologies which could bring about revolution in the field of education. The purpose of ICT in education is generally to familiarize students with the use and workings of computers and related social and ethical issues.
The eminent speaker of the day was Dr. B.K. Murthy, Executive Director –CDAC & Sr. Director (Scientist G), National Knowledge Network, HRD in IT and PEG divisions, Govt. of India, Ministry of Comm. & IT Dept. of IT, New Delhi.
The lecture was attended by Mr. Ramesh Negi (Chairman, Young Professionals, Delhi local Network), Major Gen. A.K. Jain ( Additional Director, ASET), Prof. (Dr.) K.M. Soni, (Dy. Director, ASET), Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal (HOD (CSE), ASET), Ms. Nitasha Hasteer (Acting HOD (IT),ASET) and 145 faculty/student members from ASET.
