Mr. Waven Williams, High Commissioner, Seychelles visits Amity University
Mr. Waven Williams, High Commissioner, Seychelles visited Amity University to discuss about the potential collaborations between Educational Institutions/Colleges of Seychelles and Amity University.
Welcoming the distinguished guest, Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor of Amity University briefed him about Amity University, its unique courses, program collaborations, Research and Development activities etc.
Mr. William applauded the infrastructure, hospitality and culture of Amity and expressed his desire to visit the University again. Mr. Williams outlined several areas of potential collaboration between Amity and educational institutions of Seychelles including exchange of faculty, exchange of students and online informative and knowledgeable sessions, etc.
The interaction dwelled over the opportunity for better understanding of both the cultures and establishing education patterns of Amity and Seychelles Educational Institutions. Dr. Ajit Varma- Pro-Vice Chancellor, Science & Technology (International), Prof. VPS Arora- Dean Academics, Dr. Sanjay Srivastava- Dean Faculty of Management Studies, Prof. B B Dhar- Director Research & Innovation Coordination, Dr. Alka Munjal- Director Academics, Maj. Gen. R K Dhawan-Director International Affairs Department were also present amongst several other dignitaries.
