Students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands visit Amity University

A team comprising of 9 students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands visited Amity Campus, Sector-125, Noida to interact with the business students of Amity University and familiarize themselves with the business culture of India.

The students who formed the part of the delegation included Aleksandar Lazarov, Thomas Vromen, Joris Smal, Franciska van Horssen, Manon Cress, Stanislava Rigova, Ellen Wubbles, Sara Vermani and Hester Lentz.

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Sanjay Srivastava- Dean of Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University and Prof. Alka Munjal- Director, (Academics) & Mentor, Amity School of Business. Addressing the foreign students, Dr. Sanjay Srivastava- Dean of Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University shared that the teaching pedagogy of Amity is a perfect blend of Western education and rich Indian culture and traditions. “Keeping in view the industry requirements, the modules of communication skils and behavioral skils are made compulsory part of every programme and course,” asserted Dr. Srivastava. He also apprised the students with the latest technology aids that are being used in business schools of Amity to enrich the learning experience of budding managers at Amity.

While sharing his views during the occasion, Prof. Tim Sanders-Faculty, Business English Communication, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands said that India is a developing economy and the world is looking forward to the markets of India, making it essential for people across the world to understand the business culture of India. He expressed that meeting Amity Students and faculty members has enriched their knowledge about Indian business scenario.

The students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences met Dr. Balvinder Shukla- Acting Vice Chancellor, Amity University and also interacted with the students of Amity School of Business, Amity International Business School and Amity Business School.

During the occasion, Prof (Dr.) Alka Munjal , Director (Academics),Prof B.K. Srivastava, Director, Amity Centre for Excellence and Prof. S.K. Malhotra, Amity Business School conducted a Panel Discussion on “Emerging Trends in Business”.
