Delegation from University of Nebraska visits Amity University

Delegation of University of Nebraska visited Amity University, Sector-125, Noida to build a mutually rewarding association between both the Universities. The delegation comprised of Dr. John E. Christensen, Chancellor, University of Nebraska at Omaha with his wife Mrs. Jan Christensen and Dr. Deepak Khazanchi, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

The delegation was welcomed by Maj. Gen R.K. Dhawan, Director, International Affairs Division, Amity and Rear Adml R.C. Kochhar, Dy. Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University.

The purpose of the delegation’s Visit was to explore Amity’s academic offerings. Dr. Khazanchi also met the IT & Computer Science Faculty members to discuss the relevant areas where both the Universities can join hands.

Dr. John E. Christensen, Chancellor, University of Nebraska had an interactive session with the faculty members and students of Amity University. While his interaction with the gathering he praised Amity’s culture and said that Amity has grown big in last few years. “No doubt Amity is the No. one rapidly growing Private Institute of India” said Mr. Christensen.

Delegatiom members also met with Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh.

During the occasion Dr. S.K. Pachauri, Amb R.M Aggarwal, Prof. S.P. Jakhanwal, Dr. D.S. Rathore, Prof. Phool Kaul and Senior Directors and Head of the institutions of Amity University were present.

The delegation was taken around the campus and shown magnificent campus including impressive infrastructure, state of the art laboratories and Amity Innovation Incubator.
