A delegation from University of Nottingham, UK visits Amity University to discuss potential areas of mutual collaboration

A delegation from University of Nottingham visited Amity University, Sector 125, Noida to discuss the potential areas where both the institutes could collaborate and mutually benefit.

The eminent members in the delegation included Professor Christine Ennew, Pro Vice Chancellor for Internationalization, Dr Richard Masterman -Head Of Research and Graduate Services, Mr.Jaison Feehily-Head Asia Business Center, Professor Zoe Wilson from the Bio Sciences Faculty and Varrtika Tarun Mudaliar.

Welcoming the delegation, Prof (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor, AUUP & DG, Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) said that Nottingham University is a well known institution across the world and outlining preferred areas of potential collaboration, she said that Amity University would like to associate with Nottingham University in the areas of R&D, Student Training and Exchange Programmes, Faculty Exchange Programmes and other areas.

Addressing the gathering, Professor Christine Ennew expressed her joy over visiting Amity University and apprised the officials of Amity University with the various activities and programmes going on in Nottingham University. She expressed that the University of Nottingham wants to be associated with the best of institutions across the globe and stressed that proposed collaboration between Amity University and Nottingham University especially in the area of research will benefit the students and faculty members of both the institutions immensely in their future growth and development.

During this occasion, Dr. S.S Aggrwal - Pro Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lt. General P.D Bhargav- Deputy Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Maj Gen RK Dhawan, Director, International Affairs Department, Amity University and Wing Cdr S.K Goel –Deputy Director, International Affairs Department, Amity University were also present.
