A High Power Nigerian delegation visits Amity University

A high power Nigerian delegation, headed by H. E Mr. Kenneth Gbagi, Minister of State (MoS) for Education of Nigeria visited Amity University, Sector- 125, Noida to identify and discuss potential areas of collaboration with the University with special focus on Distance Learning Programmes.

The delegation was received and welcomed by Mr. Aseem Chauhan- Chancellor, Amity University, Rajasthan and Mr. R M Aggarwal, IFS (Retd.), Amity Centre for International Cooperation and Alliances.

The delegation was apprised with Amity University, overall students’ strength, its cutting edge programmes, teaching pedagogy, breakthrough research carried on by researchers and scientists, various Amity campuses across India and state of the art infrastructure of Amity Campuses through a vivid presentation given by Maj. Gen R K Dhawan- Director, International Affairs Department.

The delegation was taken around Amity Campus and was shown Amity Innovation Incubator and laboratories and classrooms of various institutes. The delegation was quite impressed with the Herculean efforts Amity is making to change the education scenario in India.

Minister of State (MoS) for Education was accompanied by Prof. Nelson- Special Assistant to the MoS for Education, Dr. Ramon Yusuf Suleiman Babatunde- Dy Director, Opan and Distance Learning, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Pela Omoefe, Mr. Albert Akpomudje and Ms. Ngozi Juliet Njoku during his visit to Amity.
