Amity School of Engineering & Technology organises Expert Talk on Radar Communication
Amity School of Engineering & Technology organized an Expert Talk on Radar Communication on 28th Oct 2010 in C Block Auditorium at Amity University Campus, Sec-125, Noida.
Mr. R.K. Gulati and Mr. Raghunandan Tyagi, Technical Head from Bharat Electronics Limited, specialize in making RADARS. Mr. Raghunandan Tyagi discussed about the ongoing projects on RADAR – “CARs” and “Combat Management Systems” used by Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.
Prof. P.K.Rohatgi, HOD, CRC ASET along with faculty members and final year students of B.Tech. ECE were present during the event.
Mr. R.K. Gulati discussed about the range, transmission and receiving of RADAR waves and the practical aspects of finding the location and altitude of the object. He shared his knowledge about the ROHINI and REVATHI RADARS and told about the role of RADAR in defence and he also shared his view and clarified on various queries raised by the students during the session on Radar Communication.
In the end, Mr. Navdeep Sharma, Programme Leader, M.TECH ASET, felicitated Mr. Raghunandan Tyagi & Mr. R.K.Gulati with a Mementoes as a token of gratitude on behalf of Amity School of Engineering & Technology and CRC ASET concluded with a vote of thanks to the distinguished guest for sparing his valuable time to deliver the wonderful session and the gathering for the attentive listening & participation.
