Amity International Business School organises Two day 7th Global HR Summit
Two day Global HR Summit 2010 on the theme "Innovating, Involving, Inspiring and Integrating Individuals for Managing Global Organizations" was organised at Amity International Business School.
The Corporate Meet is one of the largest and best platforms for interacting with HR professionals, Industry captains and renowned academicians of Asia.

Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) and CEO, AKC Group of Companies and Dr. Gurinder Singh, Pro- Vice Chancellor, Amity University U.P. & Director General, AIBS were also present during the inaugural ceremony of the HR Summit.
Appreciating the theme of the HR Summit, Mr. Rohit Sinha, Head HR, Larsen & Toubro said, " the topic is quite relevant for the students as innovation is the demand of the day. Innovation and entrepreneurship go together.
Mr. Sukesh Jain, Chief Operating Officer, Bharti Airtel said, " to be an effective leader you have to be an effective HR person since you need to manage people." He advised the students to follow the three pillars of how to develop entrepreneurial development, empowerment and team work.
Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) and CEO, AKC Group of Companies in his inaugural address said that the students are the wealth of nation. So they should be well trained before stepping into the competitive world of the corporate. Such kind of platform would make them confident enough to face the world as future leaders.
The Valedictory function of the HR Summit was organised on September 18, 2010. Mr. R.S. Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, ONGC, Mr. GK Upadhyay, Chairman & Managing Director, Telecommunications Consultants India, Mr. Venkatram Arabolu, MD, BSI Management System, Mr. Rajesh Srivastava, Head HR, British Paints, Mr. Ashish Kumar, PVR Cinemas, Mr. Rajeev Arora, Principal Consultant, Quibx Technologies were present during the valedictory ceremony.
The summit witnessed the presence of HR stalwarts from various organizations who threw light upon the aforementioned theme. As companies across the globe are struggling to keep pace with one-another, the HR captains from renowned global companies briefed the students about the current and future economic scenario. During Plenary Sessions HR Professionals interacted with the students and enlightening them about the importance of Individual Contribution for Joint Organizational Success. They briefed students about the current business scenario and also gave them some valuable tips to tackle with the various ups and downs of the business world.
The Corporate meet also provided an excellent platform to felicitate the industry guides and media fraternity. After extensive research, the exemplary performances portrayed by the Industry Captains were recognized and felicitated during the meet. A diverse range of awards for HR Excellence were conferred to the deserving Industry Professionals in Best Intellectual Human Resource Utilization Practices, Best Talent Management Practices, Best Socio Economic Responsive Organisation, Best Young HR Manager Award, Talent Acquisition, Global Business Development, E-Human Resource Management etc to name a few.
The Research & Case Study Presentation Competition witnessed participation of renowned Academicians and Industry Professionals. A similar separate competition was organized for students of AIBS and other B-Schools to put forth their research contributions.
400 Industry Guides graced the Corporate Meet as a token of thanks for their timely guidance and support to the students during their internship. The event was also marked with stupendous cultural performances by the students.
