Amity School of Business organises Corporate Panel Discussion
The Integrated MBA and BBA + MBA (Dual Degree) batches of Amity School of Business organized a corporate panel discussion on 24 September, 2010 on the topic of “COMPETENCIES REQUIRED BY GENERATION Y IN TODAY’S CORPORATE WORLD.”
The event started with the Lamp lighting ceremony by the guests and Prof. Alka Munjal, Director Amity School of Business.
While addressing the gathering, Prof Munjal, laid emphasis on the need of academic-industry interface and highlighted important areas wherein corporate interaction with students is required and done at Amity School of Business.
Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Pro Vice Chancellor (A) addressed the gathering emphasizing on the importance of interaction between the corporate world and the emerging managers awaiting to enter the corporate world.
The panel discussion was attended by many eminent corporate personalities from varied fields of specialization. The prominent among the panelists were Mr. Lalit Chadha, (Deputy GM) Kuoni Destinantion Management, Mr. Jagannadham T, SMC Ltd, Mr. Roop Khurana Manager (OHS) Nokia Siemens Network, Mr. Vijay Rao (Plant Head) HT Media and Mr. Manish Jha (Marketing Manager) Havells Ltd., Mr. R.P Singh, Cheverolet, Mr. Raj Prakash Vyas, Chambal Fertilizers.
The Corporate Panel Discussion which turned out to be a huge success and a milestone for Academic-Industry Interface at Amity School of Business, enabled the students to know about the various capabilities and qualities required by them to work efficiently in the corporate world in a way that it would help the firm and the individual to achieve the objectives. The discussion at the end of each session allowed the students to interact freely with the eminent corporate personalities.
