Amity CISCO Regional Networking Academy (Part of Amity Institute of Information Technology) organized CISCO Education Day Meet 2010 at Amity campus-125, Noida, to apprise the students with Global Academy Updats and Future Trends in 21st Century Learning,CISCO Career Certifications and Learning Pathways including Passport 21,Instructor Professional Development, Academy Updte – New curriculum, Packet Tracer 5.3 and Web 2.0
Mr. O.P Sangwan, Head, CISCO Regional Networking Academy, Maj. K. Jai Singh, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh and Prof Dr. H.S.P Singh, Head of Institute, AIIT, CISCO welcomed Guests of Honor, Capt. D.K Singh, Principle Director, Integrated, Head Quarter, Ministry of Defence, Government of India and Mr. Sandeep Raina, Sr. Vice President, CISCO Systems.
Maj. K. Jai Singh, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh said “CISCO plays a major role in building the largest networking set up in the world and has made a mark in our country”. He shared the nuances of the Collaboration between CISCO and Amity (that started in March 2001) and the benefits which accrue out of the collaboration for students, Faculty and Institute.
Mr. Raina expressed his pleasure in being a part of the CISCO Education Day Meet 2010. He said “We are in an era where edible fruits like Apple and Backberry have undergone major technological metamorphosis to become useful electronic gadgets that keep the world connected with any and every information updte or development. Mr. Raina shared with the audience about the “Impact of Technological Development” and “Cloud Computing – which will bring about a paradigm shift”. Mr. Raina laid great emphasis on the advantages of CISCO’s Collaboration with Academic Program, focusing on upgraded skil level.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Sunita Yadav, Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT).
