Journalist Association of India (JAI) felicitates Maj Vinod Krishna-Director, Amity Institute of Training & Development with Best Trainer for Corporate Communications Award

With 42 years of rich corporate experience, Maj Vinod Krishna-Director, Amity Institute of Training & Development, Amity University has been felicitated by Hon’ble Oscar Fernandes, MP, with Journalist Association of India’s National Award (2010) for the “Best Trainer for Corporate Communications” on September 02, 2010 at The Ashok Hotel, Chankya Puri, New Delhi

Maj. Krishna has served Corps of Engineers of Indian Army for 16 yrs and had taken part in the Indo-Pak War of 1971. Thereafter, he shifted to the corporate sector as Head, Corporate Communications for ONGC and then, Head, PR & Training with Oil India Ltd. He has organized corporate events in USA, Canada, Azerbaijan and Vietnam besides several in India. He has trained officers and men of Indian Army and corporate professionals of leading Public Sector Navaratnas and Private sector organizations including Air India, ONGC, ONGC Videsh, Power Grid Corporation, Oil India and Oriental Bank of Commerce etc.

Ms. Satya Bahin -Former MP and Member, National Commission SC, and Mr. Pradeep Jain Aditya- Minister of Rural Development (MOS) were the Guests of Honor during the ceremony.

The awards conferred in 50 categories aimed to felicitate the professionals from different walks of life. Best Banker of the Year (Male) Award was conferred upon Mr. Kamal Bhushan, Former Director, OBC, Best Social Activist Award was conferred upon Ms. Harmala Gupta (can support), Best Information Officer Award was conferred upon Mr. Rajiv Chandran, Information officer India & Nepal (United Nation), Best Personality on International Affairs Award was conferred upon Dr. Beni Prasad Aggarwal-Former Ambassador of India to name a few awardees

JAI is a non-profit organization working for the welfare of down trodden, slum dwellers, journalists, freedom of press and social, development and environmental issues including HIV/ AIDS, cancer, global warming, environment, education for all for the last 18 years. Eminent publishers, correspondents, reporters, freelance writers, public relations professionals, photographers and other persons/individuals/organization serving in the field of media sector are members of JAI.
