Amity International School, Mayur Vihar organises Science Exhibiton - Vasudha
To inculcate the spirit of inquiry and build up scientific temperament among the students, Amity International School, Mayur Vihar organized Vasudha, 2010- a Science Exhibiton on July 29, 2010, which provided a platform to the young students to come out with research based, innovative projects on theme ‘land resources use it for prosperity save it for prosperity’
The pioneering project is an initiative of the Chairperson, Amity International Schools, Dr. (Mrs) Amita Chauhan and under her committed patronage, the students are given constant encouragement to explore, experiment and innovate. She applauded the efforts put in by the students and urged them to explore nature with rational outlook without harming it.
The mega-event was also graced by eminent Scientists & professors specializing in various fields as judges. Principal Mrs. Sarita Aggarwal welcomed the esteemed dignitaries and briefed them about the inception of Vasudha.
Students displayed their research- based projects on a variety of theme like land reclamation, making bricks through ash, using water hyacinth for fertilizer and paper making, biodegradable polythene, the effects of different kinds of trees to reduce noise pollution.
The judges appreciated the efforts made by the young students and gave their expert comments on their projects.
