Amity Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences organizes International Seminar on Single Subject Research Design in Special Education
AmityInstitute of Rehabilitation Sciences organized an International Seminar on SingleSubject Research Design in Special Education at Amity Campus, Sector 125,Noida. The seminar witnessed the presence of more than 100 particiapnts from variousColleges and Universities including Lady Irwin College , Jamia Millia Islamia, WE THEPEOPLE (Web Channel production House), Genesis Global School, Society for advance study in Rehabilitation, MJPRohailkhand University and ChandraBhushan Singh Memorial Institute.
The seminar was inaugurated by Chief GuestsDr. Nora Griffin Shirley PhD.Director; Virginia Murray SowellCentre for research and education program in Visual Impairment and Professor in special education atTexas Tech University and Dr. Devendra Banda; Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral; Associate professor, special education at Texas Tech University.They were welcomed by Dr Jayanti Pujari,Director , Amity institute of RehabilitationSciences; Dr W Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science Technology and InnovationFoundation; Dr. JP Singh, Chairman, Amity Foundation of DevelopmentalDisabilities and Senior Officials of Amity University.
Welcoming the guests, Dr W Selvamurthy saidthat the conference isvery important from the apect of learning since it will highlight on the factof helping others. He acknowledged the team under the leadership of Dr.JP Singh who gave a road map to the Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder president’svision for service to persons with disabilities and that Amity University hasforeseen the rising need of special education to allow this transition.
During theSeminar 12 papers were presented by the research scholars around the world.
