Delegation from British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canada Visits Amity University
A delegation from British Columbia Institute of Technology, Vancouver,Canada (BCIT) visited Amity University to discuss the areas of mutual cooperationin Food Technology, Health Science and Engineering (Aerospace & Automotive)and explore the possibility of to establishing a Joint campus in Canada.
The delegation was led by Dr. Lawrence Gu, Dean of International –BCIT who was accompanied by Mr. Manjit Dhillon, 2nd Vice Chair,Board of Governors. They were welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Additional Vice Chancellor, AmityUniversity and Mr. R M Aggarwal, Additional Director General, Amity Centre forInternational Corporate and Alliances.
Welcoming the guests, Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh briefed themabout the history, faculty strength and achievements of Amity University. Hefurther added that the collaboration will focus on Pre-Nursery Education to HigherEducation.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Manjit Dhillon applauded theinfrastructure, facilities and faculty of Amity University. He shared thatanother aim of the visit is to encourage more education exchanges betweenCanada and India to enrich the cultural experiences and develop global outlookof students.
During the visit, the delegation interactedwith academic wealth of Amity and took a round of the Campus visiting AmityUniversity Online Department, Amity Innovation Incubator, Central Library andLaboratories.
