Amity Institute of Fashion Technology organises Fashion Show on the theme “Incredible India"
Amity Institute of Fashion Technology (ASFT) organized a Fashion Show on the theme “Incredible India” at Amity University Campus, Sector- 125, Noida in order to provide an apt platform to the Fashion Designing students for displaying their talent and creativity in front of ace fashion designers.
Ms. Divya Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity School of Fashion Technology welcomed the distinguished guests and motivated the participants to give their best, without getting worried about the final results.
Over 8 teams participated in the spectacular show including JD Institute of Fashion Technology; Pearl Academy of Fashion (Delhi & Noida); Institute of Fine Arts (Modinagar); Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad; Mata Sundri College for Women and Satyam Fashion Institute. The budding designers from these Institutes sizzled the ramp with exemplary élan and gaiety, displaying the multi-hued attires designed by them.
The garments were designed and created by using varied colour palettes, silhouettes, textures and surface ornamentation to portray the diversity of India. The gorgeous Indian ethnic wear displayed pure tradition along with the latest fashion that makes the beauty of a women glow. The collection comprised of a variety from the basic traditional wear to the modern western outfit.
The teams were adjudged by Mr. David Johnson, Director David Design Studio USA, Ms. Prashansha Saha and Ashish Tanga, Fashion Designers and Mr. Jatinn Vij- Chief Mentor, Design & Product Development, Shahi Exports on the basis of Creativity of garments, accessories, props etc., Innovation in Design concept, Aesthetic appeal , Choreography Time Management and Overall coordination.
The team from Pearl Academy of Fashion, Delhi was declared “Winners”, followed by JD Institute of Fashion Technology and Pearl Academy of Fashion, Noida.
Also present during the occasion were Ms. Ritika -Fashion Designer from Gaurav & Ritika, Mr. Vikrant Makkar, Fashion Designer, Mr. Sadan Pandey -Fashion Designer and Mr. Rahul from Rahul & Anushka Fashion Designers
