Amity University organized a Amity Physiotherapy Camp on 28th January’ 2014 at Sadarpur Village, Sector – 45, Noida as a part of Course Curriculum of AIPT, AIPH & AIPAS students
The Camp was inaugurated by Lt. Gen. P.D. Bhargava, Gp. Dy. Vice Chancellor &Prof. S.S. Agrawal, Gp. Dy. Pro Vice Chancellor & Advisor – Health & Allied Sciences and Sh. Munish Saini, representative from Sadarpur Village “Panchayat”, faculty and PG students from AIPH, AIPT, AIPAS, AFDD & AIP were present. 134 Patients & 122 school students were benefited. Electro physiotherapy, General physical Check up, Blood sugar screening, Health Education on Hand hygiene and Medicines were provided. 81 students of Primary School, students suffering from abdominal pain and history of intestinal worms were provided with tablet Albendazol (400 mg). 66 Anemic adult & adolescent females were provided iron & calcium supplement. Blood sugar test were done on about 42 patient and 4 patient found to be diabetic. 32 dental check up and 50 homeopathic counseling were done.
This Physiotherapy-cum-Health Checkup Camp was jointly organized by Amity Institute of Physiotherapy, Amity Institute of Physiology & Allied Sciences, Amity Institute of Public Health and Amity Institute of Pharmacy and more than 67 students of the different UG & PG progamme students taken active part in this Camp.
