Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi organises prelims of Anugoonj 2014, an Annual Cultural festival of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

The Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi organised prelims of Anugoonj 2014 an Annual Cultural festival of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University on 29th & 30th January, 2014. These prelims were organised for Twenty-Two institutes of Zone II affiliated to GGSIP University.

 

As many as twenty seven events under the following six major categories were organised on these two days.

MUSIC

Ø  Classical Vocal -Solo (Hindustani & Karnatak)

Ø  Indian Vocal Music – Solo

Ø  Western Vocal Music - Solo

Ø  Indian Vocal Music – Group

Ø  Western Vocal Music – Group

DANCE EVENTS

Ø  Folk Dance

Ø  Choreography

Ø  Classical Dance

Ø  Nach Baliye

Ø  Footloose

ØStreet Dance

LITERARY EVENTS

Ø  Quiz

Ø  Debate (English & Hindi)

Ø  Creative Writing (Hindi)

Ø  Creative Writing (English)

Ø  Poetry Recitation (English & Hindi)

ØJust – a- Minute

FINE ARTS

Ø  On the spot Painting

Ø  Collage – theme “The Shrinking World “

Ø  Clay Modeling

ØMono Acting

Around six hundred students of various institutes of Zone II participated in this mega event. The first and second winners of these events were identified. These winners will now compete with the winners of other zones for final schedule to be held on 7th Feb, 2014 at the campus of  GGSIP University.  Amongst the winners of prelims were the students of Amity School of Engineering and Technology. The students of Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi were also amongst the first and second winning positions in the events.
