Amity Student Mansha Imtiyaz receives Scholarship for Rs. 75, 000 as IET India Scholarship Award 2014
Mansha Imtiyaz, a student of B.Tech- ComputerScience Engineering (Batch 2011-15), Amity University secured second positionin “IET India Scholarship Award 2014” for her Project on “Challenges andTechnical solutions in Rain Water Harvesting”
She received a Cash Prize of Rs. 75, 000and a Certificate from Mr. Mohandas Pai- Chairman, Manipal Global Education andSumit Chowdhury, President, Reliance Jio Infocomm during a glittering Ceremonyorganized on August 26, 2014 in Bangalore.
The winners went through a rigorous screening during four roundsin the month of August which included “Online Application”, “Online Test”,“Regional level Assessment”, and “the National Finals”. They were evaluatedacross various parameters including academic performance, extracurricularactivities, range of outreach activities and their ability to come up withengineering solutions to solve problems impacting society.
IET India Scholarship Award
The IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology), Indiainstituted the annual IET Scholarship Awards in 2013 to underline theorganisation’s commitment to India’s engineering community and to reward andcelebrate individual excellence and innovation among undergraduate engineeringstudents from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions from across the nation. The IETIndia Scholarship is given on merit-based selection criteria.
