Volunteers from AIESEC India Visits Amity University
Volunteers of Association Internationale des étudiants en scienceséconomiques et commerciales (AIESEC) started with an Induction Seminar at AmityUniversity, Sector 125, Noida to create awareness about AIESEC and to register volunteersfor the one-day social event “Balakalakar 2014” to be held on 31stAugust 2014 at
Association Internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques etcommerciales (AIESEC) is the World’s Largest Youth Run Organization and ispresent in more than 124 countries, with a membership body of over 86000 andhas an alumni network of more than 1 Lakh distinguished people from all aroundthe world. Its main products are Exchange and Leadership.
Addressing the gathering, Karan Sawhney, Vice-President, AIESEC – IITDelhi said that Balakalakaar is an Initiative to impact upon the lives ofthose children who have less reasons to smile. He further added that the ventaims to improve the quality of life led by underprivileged children in Delhicity. It also endeavors to help them discover and develop their potential inart forms of various types. He expressed that the event is expected to be oneof a kind and unique event for more than 6000 underprivileged children withmore than 600 volunteers at one platform.
The event was attended by thestudents from various Institutions of Amity University.
