Students from Amity School of Engineering & Technology visit Purdue University, USA for major project

Directorate of International Collaboration for Engineering & Technology has sent Students Amity School of Engineering & Technology from Batch 2009-13 to Purdue University, USA for major project in 8th Semester. 13 Students from different branches such as CSE, IT and ECE  were nominated to do their major project in Purdue University, USA. Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Acting VC, AUUP and Dr. Alka Munjal motivated the students going for unique global experience for their project. Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal, Director, DICET and HoD, CSE gave best wishes to do hard work and come up as Jewels of ASET.

This exchange program would serve as a great learning experience for the students. It requires them to work in one of the most advanced laboratories along with attending lectures. This is the first time in ASET; students would give exams under advanced provision. This program gives the students a global exposure of various cultures, as teaches them to adapt to a new lifestyle in a whole new country. And thus, it teaches the students way more than just academics.

Student’s feedback on arrival at USA showed great enthusiasm and zeal for new exposure. The professors are very skilled and are helping them adjust to the new environment and culture. This experience is helping them grow professionally and personally. All the students shown thier gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal, Director, DICET and HoD, CSE for giving them this ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’.
