Amity University inks Declaration of Academic Cooperation with Queen Mary University of London
Amity University had formalized the partnership with the Queen Mary University of London by signing a Declaration of Academic Cooperation on March 03, 2014.
The Declaration of Academic Cooperation was signed by their Vice- President and Executive Dean (Science and Engineering), Professor Jeremy Kilburn, during his visit to Amity University Campus, Sector-125 Noida.
Prof Kilburn was very impressed with Amity campus and is very keen on finalizing the association by making Amity its exclusive partner in India to offer a Joint Degree Program where-in 50 % of the program is taught by faculty from Queen Mary University of London.
This model has been highly successful for them in China where they now have 2800 students with their partner University, Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications (BUPT).
Prof Kilburn is also very confident that 2+2 programs can be offered from this academic year itself and has agreed to take this up on priority with his faculty & senate.
He is very excited to be able to explore the above academic models in exciting combinations for all campuses of Amity in India, London, Singapore, Mauritius & Dubai.
This Declaration of Academic Cooperation will soon achieve a fruitful implementation with the guidance and good wishes of Chancellor of Amity University & will automatically lay a strong foundation for other areas of collaboration.
