Swami Chidrupananda, Chinmaya Mission inaugurates Amity Human Values Quarter 2014
The Inaugural Function of the Amity Human Values Quarter 2014 took place on January 24, 2014 at F-2 Auditorium with the active participation of students and officials from Amity Institutions.
The inaugural session was addressed by Swami Chidrupananda, Chinmaya Mission, Noida who made a powerful presentation on Power of Values in a highly interactive manner. Swami ji spoke on the values of Character, Dharma, Righteousness, Truthfulness, Behaviour & Strength.
Besides Swami ji emphasized on a code of conduct based on values as under :
- Take out time to be with yourself at least for few minutes
- Read every day and pick up at least one new thought which inspires you.
- Try to exchange some pleasantaries with those around you. This would put you at ease
- Seek help without hesitation from others. This will meet your ego blocks
- Admit your every day silly mistakes which we often make. This makes life simple.
- Resolve not to come to quick conclusions
- Try to respect every individual
- Try to do good deeds every day
- Spend considerable time with family. Let them feel you are part of it.
Swami Chidrupananda wished that the students and all youth of the country should live with perfect health, live minimum 100 years and exit the world without any pain.
Mr. B.S Bisht, presented Vote of Thanks reinforcing Swamiji’s teachings in a poetic form and earned spontaneous applause from audience with each couplet.
Students of ASCO presented the theme song and played along with a film on human values.
