H.E. Dr. Darja Bavdaz – Kuret, Ambassador of Slovenia visits Amity University
H.E. Dr. Darja Bavdaz – Kuret, Ambassador of Slovenia visited Amity University, Sector- 125, Noida along with Mr. Boris Jelovsek, Minister Plenipotentiary; Mr. Vlado Kreslin, Slovenian Folk Singer and Poet and Mr. Sharad Chandra Srivastav, Famous Indian Violinist.
H.E. Dr. Darja Bavdaz-Kuret, Ambassador of Slovenia inaugurated the exhibition “The Visual Identity of Slovenia-Design for the State and expressed her joy on visiting Amity University and outlined the importance of cross- cultural exchanges amongst various national.
During the occasion, a mesmerizing concert by Mr. Vlado Kreslin, famous Slovenian Folk Singer & Poet was also organized, which was attended by hundreds of students and faculty members of Amity.
The country music of Slovenia, presented by Mr. Kreslin was soul soothing and elevated the spirits of the audience, who were left spellbound and mesmerized. His melodious voice reverberated in the air and left the audience asking for more.
Vlado Kreslin is one of the most influential Slovenian musicians, whose distinctive style combines elements of Folk, Pop and Rock music. His songs have been used as the basis for novels and films. Kreslin is a singer and songwriter who is also responsible for a reawakening of interest in older traditional ballads and songs.
Also present during the occasion were Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity International Schools, Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor AUUP and senior members of the management of Amity.
