Amity Institute of Education, AUUP organises Workshop on Blackboard Writing Skills

One day Blackboard writing workshop was organized at Amity Institute of Education, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh on 6 March, 2014 in collaboration with Voc-edu an leading organization in promoting education. The leading resource persons were Mr. Ajay Vasudeva and Ms.Seemaa Mehra.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr.Alka Muddgal, HOI, Amity Institute of Education, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. She accorded a warm welcome to the resource persons and welcomed all the participants. She encouraged the students to follow the path to success under the able mentoring of Prof. (Dr.) Ranjana Bhatia, Mentor, Amity Institute of Education, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. The workshop was also graced by Dr. Manorama Khanna, Advisor, Amity Institute of Education, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.
In the opening session, the students were enlightened upon the finer aspects of handwriting and briefed about the importance of blackboard writing skill for teachers. The session not only elaborated upon the impact of handwriting on the teaching-learning process but also elucidated upon the impact of handwriting on the personality of the individuals. It was an interactive session which enthralled the students .
The second session was a hands–on –session on the Black-board writing skills. The students were enriched on using the blackboard effectively to enhance the teaching learning process. About 350 students participated in the workshop.
Dr.Alka Muddgal, HOI, Amity Institute of Education, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh and Dr.Manorama Khanna, Advisor, Amity Institute of Education, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh felicitated the resource persons and hoped for future partnerships to improve the teaching –learning process.
