Amity Law School, Centre II organises Legal Insight Skit Competition

A Legal Insight Skit Competition was organized by The Dramatics Society of Amity Law School, Centre II, Darpan and. The event was a visual delight to the audience who were mesmerized by performances! The theme for the event was “Dramatics in Politics” which was effectively portrayed by all the contenders. The judges for the event were- Mr. Jaswant Singh, Editor, Director and technical expert with T-Series with a number of music videos and serials to his credit and Mr. Dinesh Anand, Make-up artist currently working with Rajya Sabha Television. Various teams from different departments of Amity University participated and did full justice to the theme. Their acts reflected the anguish and frustration faced by the Indian society, for the one evil destroying the morals of humanity, ‘corruption’.
The price distribution ceremony was initiated by giving away the prizes to the winners of The Dance Competition held on 14th October 2013 followed by the result declaration Skit competition. The results were as follows:
First Position: Amity Institute of Biotechnology (group name- MANTHAN)
Second Position: Amity Law School Centre II (group name- DARPAN)
Third Position: Amity Institute of Forensic Science.
The event turned out to be a great success and an encouragement to all the participants of this theatre movement.
