Amity Business School organises Trishna - Test Your Marketing Accumen

TRISHNA was organized during Amity Youth Festival 2014 by Amity Business School to provide an opportunity to young, fresh minds having ideas to gain a reward. The candidates from various institutions like S.R.C.C. (DELHI UNIVERSITY), JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA, HANSRAJ (DELHI UNIVERSITY), UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS STUDIES (G.G.S.I.P.U.), KHALSA COLLEGE (DELHI UNIVERSITY), FORTUNE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS, J.S.S. (NOIDA)  and other FIFTEEN teams presented their to show their creativity and knowledge to the jury members. The eminent Jury comprised of successful manager, who evaluated the   presentations on originality, commercial feasibility, Administrative feasibility , market research and Social contribution.

There were three rounds in the competition. First round - Prashno ke Bhagam Bhaag- was rapid fire quiz round on Management and Current Affairs in Marketing arena. 10 teams were qualified for next round. In Second round - Jugaad Vyapari - All the teams were given a prototype of a product. They were given 5 minutes to compose a tag line, Jingle and a short skit for the product. The jury and the faculty were given TRISHNA NOTES worth Rs. 1000 each. At the end of all the presentation the jury and the faculty put the notes in the respective boxes of all the participants. Five teams were qualified for third and last round which was titled Vyaparik Sansani. In this round each finalist was shown a 1 minute clip of a controversial ad campaign, and was later made to attend a press conference. With continuous questions by the repoters of Team Sansani, it was an intense grilling session

The winning team from  University School of Business Studies (G.G.S.I.P.U.) , New Delhi received a trophy and cash prize of Rs15000 and the runner up team from SRCC, New Delhi received a cash prize of Rs 10000.
