Amity Business School conducts HIV/AIDS awareness session during Amity Human Values Quarter

Every year Amity Business School ensures to make the best of the concept of Human Values and has conducted variety and numerous activities to involve maximum students for their participation. To commence with this great endeavour and as a mark of beginning of Amity Human Values Quarter, Amity Business School conducted a HIV/AIDS awareness session during Amity on 27th January, 2014 in F2 Auditorium. This session was conducted by PepsiCo India Holdings Pvt Ltd who has taken an initiative to drive greater awareness about HIV/AIDS. Mr Sanjay Gupta, Head- International Business & Agri Commercials and Ms Nidhi Sudan, Legal Manager Pepsi Co, Gurgaon were the trainers who specially came to the campus for the noble cause. PepsiCo recognizes HIV/AIDS as a challenging global health issue which poses a significant threat to our community. Director ABS, Dr Sanjeev Bansal with his valuable guidance and constant support ensured that maximum students of ABS are benefitted with the vital information.
More than 400 students and several faculty members attended the session which was extremely enriching and enlightening. Facts about the dreadful disease were very sensitively communicated to the audience who appreciated the trainers for it. The students were highly grateful to them and even kept on asking their queries after the session too. The Session was concluded by a formal vote of thanks.
