Amity Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences organises an Educational Visit to Shankara Special School, Noida
Amity Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (AIRS) recently organized an Educational Visit to Shankara Special School, Sector-33, Noida on the occasion of World Disability Day.
The school was celebrating ABILITY WEEK from 2nd to 6th December 2013. The current batch of 14 nos. of students of B.Ed Spl Edn (Learning Disability) along with 03 faculty members i.e. Mr.Naveen Singh (Faculty In-Charge), Mrs.Anusuya K Yadav and Mrs.Ankita Singh from AIRS, participated on 5th of December 2013 at Shankara Special School to develop an insight and acquaint professional skills related to disability rehabilitation and understood the importance of Disability Day.
AIRS Students interacted with Children with Special Needs doing collage painting, listening music etc. and understood the divergent Needs and ability of each special child. Mrs. N. Sujatha, Principal of Sankara Special School interacted with the AIRS Students and explained the various activities of the school.
