Amity School of Urban Management organises First CEO-Student Interactive Programme
Amity School of Urban Management (ASUM) organized its first CEO-Student Interactive programme for the students of MBA- Urban Infrastructure & Real Estate Management at the Amity University Campus, Noida, Sector 125.
Mr. S.P Jakhanwal- Director General, Amity School of Urban Management and Er. A.K Srivastava- Director, Amity School of Urban Management welcomed Mr. Getambar Anand- MD& CEO of ATS Infrastructures Ltd.
Mr. Getambar Anand, while interacting with the students, expressed his pleasure in being a part of the programme and shared with students the knowledge of 3Ps of Passion, Perseverance and Patience that help in earning rich dividends in the real estate industry. The interactive session between the students and Mr. Anand addressed major and minor factors that affect the real estate industry. He emphasized upon the importance of the exercise of visiting sites and therefore, gaining practical insight.
The students involved themselves deeply in the interaction to trade in ideas and knowledge with Mr. Anand. The interaction discussed pros and cons of significant developments taking place in real estate industry ranging from the growing popularity of Green technology, criteria of site selection, Punting (buy and sell property for short term returns) to Common Area Maintenance charges (CAM).
Mr. Anand urged all the students to make a thorough study of the Real Estate Regulatory Bill and called it as the “Bible” for this industry in the times to come.
Also present during the occasion were Prof. V.K Mathur- Director, Amity School of Design and Dr. P C Sabharwal- Director, Amity Centre for Rural Development.
