Eminent HR and Marketing Professionals interact with the students of Amity Business School
As part of its Corporate Forum Series, Amity Business School invited illustrious corporate Professionals from the areas of HR and Marketing to interact with the budding managers from MBA Class of 2012.The forum, which is held every week, helps the students to learn managerial traits from the vast experiences of the corporate bigwigs
The forum was conducted in two sessions- one focused on HR related issues and another one on marketing related issues
During the “ HR related session”,
Mr. Vijay Bhutani, COO, Leroy Somer and Controls India P. Ltd, Mr. Ashish Kumar, CHRO, PVR Ltd. and Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Director HR, Kochhar Group of Companies talked about “ Employee Engagement and Satisfaction” and apprised the students with the hair line difference between the efficiency and effectiveness in the Corporate.
During the “Marketing related session”,
Mr. Ashwani Suthar, Head-Marketing, Abbott India, Dr. Abhishek Gupta, Head-Marketing, Neutron Software and Mr. Santosh Tiwari, General Manager-HR, Lava International addressed the students on “Corporate Expectations from the Budding Managers ”
Mr. Ashwani Suther, Head- Marketing, Abbott India having 12 years of rich experience explained about the various marketing strategies, which are being adopted in Abbott and highlighted the qualities which are required to make big in sales / marketing domain
Dr. Abhishek Gupta, Head-Marketing, Neutron Software discussed various competencies like flexibility , continued learning, communicating the right way, team working, ability to adjust, respecting others, creating meaningful partnerships, which are needed to climb the corporate ladder.
The session concluded with an interactive question and answer session. The corporate speakers answered all the queries raised by the students providing valuable insights.
