Amity Institute of Physiotherapy organises industry interaction for the students during orientation ceremony

Amity Institute of Physiotherapy (AIPT), which year after year has been churning out brilliant health care professionals, started its yet another academic session for its graduate and post graduate programmes-Bachelor of Physiotherapy ( 4 ½ year course) and Masters of Physiotherapy ( 2 year course) with an Orientation session from Aug 4-6, 2010 at Amity Campus, Sector-44, Noida.

Welcoming the new entrants, Dr. Nitesh Bansal- Director, AIPT said, “Physiotherapy is one of the fastest growing professions in India, offering an immense scope to the students to excel in the field. If an aspirant is committed, dedicated, hardworking and wants to serve humanity, nothing can stop him to make big in the profession of Physiotherapy.”

Experts from the field of Physiotherapy including Dr. Deepak Kumar - Director, Capri Institute of Manual Therapy, Delhi, Dr. Zubia Veqar - Center for Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences, Jamia Milla Islamia, New Delhi, Dr. Altaf Hussain - Senior Physiotherapists, AIIMS, New Delhi and Dr. Sanjiv Jha - Secretary of Indian Association of Physiotherapists shared their views and experience with the students.

During the three day orientation session, senior members and directors of various institutes including Prof. (Dr.)Gurinder Singh Pro-VC (I) & DG, Amity International Business School, Dr Balvinder Shukla- Pro VC (A) & DG, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Abha Singh, Director, Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences, Prof. Alka Munjal, Director, Amity School of Business, Ms Jaspal Munjal- Acting Head, Amity School of Foreign Languages etc. apprised the students with the scope of foreign exposure at the University, Evaluation and Examination System, Foreign languages offered by the institute as part of their curriculum, Institutional Activities, Teaching Methodology, Academic Philosophy, Inter-Institutions Competitions, Value Addition Courses, Sports Activities, Military Training, and Anti Ragging Measures at Amity
