Amity International School organises Annual Day for Class I
Amity International School organised Annual Day for Class I where an awareness programme titled “Let’s Save The Tiger” and “Amity Gyan Ka Sagar” was presented by the students of class I.
Wing A of Class I presented bouquet of dance and music performance depicting the tigers and its importance in ecosystem. Students highlighted the need to conserve the tigers when only 1411 tigers are left in India.
During the occasion Prof. B.K.P. Sinha, Director, Amity School of Natural Resources & Sustainable Development said that tiger is the spirit of the Indian Jungle. It is the symbol of our country wilderness which we must pledge to preserve.
Ms. Renu Singh, Principal, Amity International School Noida said that that our national animal, the Royal Bengal Tiger is the perfect combination of grace, strength, agility and enormous power. The magnificent cat once denoted the glorious symbol of Indias wealth and wildlife. Even though the tiger is master of all and subject to none, except man, this regal creature is also one of the most endangered species on Planet Earth today.
During the Annual Day celebrations, wing B of Class I presented a ballad "Amity Gyan ka Sagar" in which the importance and sacredness of Knowledge in comparision to our ancient and sacred river Ganga and its tributaries were shown by the students. In the ballad students described that knowledge engenders Humility and may God gives everyone the love as of River Bhagirathi, Friendship as of River Mandakini, Progress like River Alaknanada, Humility like River Pawani and combined strenght of all rivers like River Ganga.
During the occasion Dr. R.P. Singh, Director, Amity Institute of Nano Technology, Dr. Ajay Rana, Director, Amity Technical Placement Cell, Dr. J.S. Sodhi, Asst. Vice President, AKC Data System, senior officials of Amity were present to bless the students and encourage their efforts in saving the ecosystem.
