Dr. Anup Kalra, CEO, Dabur Ayurvet Ltd. while sharing his thoughts said that in today’s competitive world it is most essential to understand the demand of the industry and in what way the academics can fulfil to that demand. The academic institutions help the young managers to enhance and develop their skils in order to fulfill the requirements of the industry. Research and development should be an integral part of the learning process for the graduates who are the future corporate leaders. The basic essential ingredients to be successful in personal and professional lives are perseverance, sincerity, knowledge, smartness, inter-personal and effective communication skils, which every educational institution should inculcate and develop in its students.

Mr. Anupam Joshi, CEO, Wacorp Hyundai Ltd., said, “the business world is too large, ever evolving, ever changing and dynamic. The things which we learn theoretically are totally different from the practical world. It is observed that whatever is relevant today may become outdated and irrelevant tomorrow. Business is all about common sense. It is about learning and understanding which does not have any specific guide lines. I personally evaluate and judge a person through his quality of information. At present times, information is the blood of business. It is further more essential that one has to be well read and well versed about areas outside academics.”

Mr. Rajan Mehta, CEO, Live Media said that to succeed in life one has to have a fire in the belly and should have the desire to succeed. Imagination and hard work always go together.

Mr. Pradeep Gupta, Chairman, Cyber Media Group while addressing the gathering said that learning beyond classroom teaching is significant along with the academics. To think in a latent manner is essential. The most important thing is the art of grasping whatever comes in one’s way. This is the time of developing relationships and networking which will help the students in the long run. Inquisitiveness is a good quality, so one should never stop asking questions.

The Forum was attended by hundreds of budding managers who have been enrolled in the new session of MBA class of 2012. The Forum proved to be very informative for the green horns and provided them an opportunity to rub shoulders with corporate honchos.
