Alcatel Lucent organises Concluding Ceremony and Summer Internship of students of AITTM
A concluding ceremony was organized by
Alcatel Lucent for the 21 B.Tech (E&T) 2007-11 Batch students who had successfully completed
Network Routing Specialist 1 (NRS 1) Training and Summer Internship with Alcatel Lucent. Students were selected in March 2010 to undergo 4 days of NRS1 Training, followed by 8 weeks of intensive Internship at Alactel Lucent, Gurgaon.
The NRS1 Training had Training resources coming in from Alcatel Lucent’s Bangalore, Mumbai and Gurgaon Development Centers. The training and the projects were based on Internet Protocol (IP) Applications for the Telecom Sector. As a part of the training, the students also got an opportunity to work on Alcatel Lucent’s Remote Servers based out of Ottawa, Canada. The students then worked on IP based communication projects of Alcatel Lucent and its clients. The students also got an opportunity to visit
Airtel’s Installation (client side installation) as a part of the project.
As a part of the training, the students underwent a
one day soft skil development training which emphasized on developing leadership and team building qualities.
The concluding ceremony had a feedback session from the students where they shared their experiences with the Alcatel Lucent Team and IIC, AITTM.
The students felt that the training program at Alcatel had been great learning experience for them. The feedback session was followed by award of Certificates to the students on successful completion of the project.
